Abstrak
Era Informasi digital telah membuat dunia menjadi global yang memungkinkan manusia dapat memiliki apa yang diinginkan secara cepat atau instant. Namun dalam sisi yang lain, Dunia digital juga memberikan peluang yang sangat pesat bagi berita-berita hoaks/palsu.Tahun 2016 berita palsu disebut dengan istilah Post Truth yang menjadi Word of the Year. Ini menandakan bahwa berita hoaks/palsu telah mewarnai seluruh dunia melalui media digital.
MetodePenelitian yang yang digunakan adalah penelitian yang bersumber dari kepustakaan melalui cara mengumpulkan bahan seperti dokumen, buku-buku Tafsiran Alkitab, buku-buku teologi, artikel, majalah ataupun berita-berita yang terkait. Diharapkan Gereja harus memberikan responnya terhadap pengarud era Post Truth sehingga dunia masih melihat kebenaran Allah melalui Gereja-Nya yang sejati.
Abstract
The digital information era has made the world global which allows humans to have what they want quickly or instantaneously. But on the other hand, the digital world also provides a very rapid opportunity for hoax/fake news. In 2016 fake news was called Post Truth which became the Word of the Year. This indicates that hoax/fake news has colored the whole world through digital media. The research method used is research sourced from the literature by collecting materials such as documents, Bible interpretation books , theological books, articles, commentary,magazines or related news. It is hoped that the Church must respond to the Post Truth era so that the world still sees God's truth through His true Church.
