The Bible is the inspired word of God given to humanity to guide human life toward continuous growth in Christ. In reality, however, the Bible often remains merely a display object and is rarely studied. This research aims to explore and discover the benefits of reading the Holy Scriptures according to 2 Timothy 3:16. A descriptive qualitative approach using the exegetical method was employed in this study to determine the principles of the benefit of reading the Holy Scriptures. The research findings revealed two fundamental benefits of reading the Holy Scriptures, namely teaching life in truth and leading toward spiritual growth. This study concludes that every Christian must read and study the Holy Scriptures so that they may live in truth and be guided into spiritual growth.
